Agreement and eligibility

These Terms and Conditions govern access to the Certified Electrician Pro mobile application and the certifiedelectrician.app website (together, the "Services"), provided by Examp, LLC ("Examp," "we," or "us"). By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.

Educational use only

Certified Electrician Pro provides educational training and practice content. It is not electrical engineering advice, NEC interpretation for a specific installation, OSHA compliance advice, licensing advice, employment advice, or a substitute for an AHJ, qualified electrician, exam provider, supervisor, regulator, attorney, or other qualified professional.

Certified Electrician Pro is an independent educational tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NFPA, OSHA, a state electrical licensing board, testing provider, or government entity. References to exams, licenses, code articles, or public authorities are descriptive and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

No outcome guarantee

Practice results, readiness indicators, study streaks, completion metrics, and other app feedback are educational estimates. They do not guarantee an exam score, license, appointment, employment outcome, promotion, inspection approval, or professional competency. Any marketing guarantee is subject to its stated eligibility requirements and remedy and does not alter this section.

Current and official information

Electrical codes, OSHA rules, exam outlines, licensing requirements, local amendments, and inspection practices change. Although we work to provide useful and accurate material, the Services may contain errors, omissions, or information that becomes outdated. You are responsible for checking current official sources before applying, testing, performing electrical work, or taking professional action.

License to use the Services

Subject to these terms and the applicable app store rules, Examp grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own educational purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish, sell, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, bypass technical restrictions, use automated systems to extract content, or use the Services to build or train a competing product except where applicable law does not permit that restriction.

Purchases, pricing, and refunds

Certified Electrician Pro is sold as a paid app. The price shown by Apple or Google at the time of purchase controls and may include taxes or regional adjustments. The applicable app store processes payment and provides the purchase license under its own terms. Examp does not receive full payment-card details.

Refund requests must be submitted through the store where the app was purchased and are governed by that store's refund policy, except where law requires otherwise. The current app does not include an Examp subscription or in-app purchase.

Device security and local data

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to the app. Jailbreaking, rooting, disabling operating-system protections, or installing untrusted software can expose the device to malware and may prevent the app from functioning correctly. Study progress and settings are stored locally, so deleting the app, clearing storage, replacing a device, or losing access to a backup may permanently remove that data.

Third-party services

Apple App Store and Google Play provide purchase, download, update, and related platform services under their own terms and privacy policies. Device manufacturers, operating-system providers, network providers, and email providers may also apply their own terms when you use their services. Examp is not responsible for a third party's services, policies, availability, or decisions.

Connectivity and charges

Core study content is designed to work on the device after installation, but store purchases, downloads, updates, external links, email, backups, and some operating-system functions may require internet access. You are responsible for network, roaming, device, and other third-party charges. Examp is not responsible when the Services are unavailable because of a network, device, store, operating-system, or third-party issue.

Updates and availability

We may add, change, correct, suspend, or remove features or content. Operating-system and app store requirements may change, and you may need to install updates to continue using the app. We do not promise that the Services will always be available, error-free, compatible with every device or operating-system version, or maintained indefinitely.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, use the Services unlawfully, or help another person do so. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, Examp, or others.

Intellectual property

The Services, including their software, branding, design, question bank, explanations, study tools, text, graphics, and other content, are owned by Examp or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, these terms do not transfer any ownership right to you.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Examp disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Examp and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, licenses, employment, or business, arising from or related to the Services. Examp's total liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for Certified Electrician Pro during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be limited by these terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, create a security or legal risk, or misuse the Services. On termination, the license granted by these terms ends and you must stop using the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised terms here and update the date at the top. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.
